DIABETES AND ALCOHOL PER MILLAGE
M.J.M. P

Question: Could you tell me whether persons with diabetes who take strong drink will therefore blow a higher alcohol per millage?

Answer:  There are no scientifically established indications that show that diabetes should directly increase the alcohol per millage. However, some researchers have said that the take-up of alcohol in the blood is considerably slower among diabetics than among non-diabetics. This would appear to mean that diabetics will not remain under the influence of alcohol more so much as longer.
