01/10/2008 ALCOHOL AND CEREBRAL HAEMORRHAGE
Question: does excessive alcohol consumption have anything to do with haemorrhage of the brain?Christelle Answer: yes indeed, it does. Excessive alcohol consumption (that is to say, more than 2 to 3 standard units per day) entails appreciable risk of contracting that condition. Recent studies would suggest that moderate alcohol consumption would reduce the risk of contracting any such condition by a half to one third. | ![]() |
