IF YOU DRINK A LOT, EAT PLENTY OF FISH

Alcohol consumption affects the nutrient intake of essential fatty acids. Heavy drinkers (binge drinking) have reduced levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as the omega-3 fatty acids, useful fats that are present in fish. This was the conclusion reached by American researchers after analyzing the diet and drinking habits of more than 4 000 men and women.
